横からの荷重と上からの荷重を受け、面で強度を持たせる形は…..。などと珍しく小難しく考えた結果、とってもシンプルで座り心地の良いスツールが出来上がりました。上から見るとマイナスネジのボルトのようなのでbolt stoolです。（小泉誠）

This simple and comfortable stool was developed from a troublesome thought of the structure. When you look this stool from right above, you can see the shape just like a minus bolt. That is the origin of this stool’s name.
