建築の内部に納まる椅子は建築的であってほしいなと建築家側からの視点でいつも考えています。このsansaは力が掛かる後脚が構造的かつ構成的に納まり建築と馴染む形になったかなと思っています。と、まぁ、勝手な理屈を語っていますが、これを作るのはとても大変なんです。建築的でありながらも座る道具として斜めになったり歪みをもたせたりと、つくり手の腕の見せ所満載なんです！そのおかげで座っても気持ちいい椅子に仕上がりました。（小泉誠）
The designer and the architect Makoto Koizumi always thinks that the chair stays inside of the architecture should be an architectonic. This point of view is from his architect side. The back legs which hold the strength settle in structurally and constructively, so this chair’s shape matches to the architectures. The creation of this chair is very hard. As a tool for seating, some parts are going slantwise, and some parts have distortion, at the same time it is architectonic. So, it is a chance to show Miyazaki Chair’s skill! So that, it completed to be good for seating.
